Mehul Thakkar

Mehul Thakkar is a seasoned expert in power architecture and management, currently serving as Senior Director at SiFive since March 2022. In this role, Mehul oversees the Power discipline for all product lines, including embedded cores and AI/ML solutions, while leading a team of engineers in both the US and India. Prior to SiFive, Mehul held multiple positions at Apple from July 2016 to March 2022, contributing significantly to power recovery and management for innovative memory subsystems and A* chip designs. Mehul's career began at Intel Corporation, where a focus on power reduction through optimization strategies established a strong foundation in circuit design. Mehul holds an M.Tech in Microelectronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
