Colin Byiers

Colin Byiers has extensive experience in sports writing and broadcasting, particularly focused on Scottish football. Since August 2019, Colin has co-presented The Blue Toon Podcast, which centers on Peterhead Football Club. In addition to podcasting, Colin currently serves as a writer for the Peterhead Football Heritage Group and as a freelance writer for PETERHEAD FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED, contributing features to the club's program since January 2022. Colin has also worked as a research assistant at Sports Interactive since May 2019, specializing in research for Peterhead FC on Football Manager. Previously, Colin gained freelance writing experience with various outlets, including Over The Bar, NE98, and CFB Football, where interviews with players and managers were a primary focus. Prior to a career in sports media, Colin held management and supervisory roles in retail from 2013 to 2018. Colin's educational background includes a Higher in various subjects from Mintlaw Academy and an HNC in Radio Communication from Glenrothes College.
