Natalia Trela-McDonald

Natalia Trela-McDonald is a seasoned professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as Senior Director of R&D and Technology at SightGlass Vision, Inc. since July 2025. Prior to this role, extensive experience was gained at PowerPhotonic between October 2011 and July 2025, where key positions included General Manager UK, Head of Solutions, Head of Product Development, Product Development Manager, and Lead Engineer in Product Development. Earlier experience includes a role as Research Assistant at Heriot-Watt University from April 2011 to March 2012. Natalia holds a PhD in Physics from Heriot-Watt University, completed in 2011, and a Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, obtained in 2006.
