Zak Nye

Zak Nye has a diverse range of work experiences, starting with their current position as a Computer Vision/Machine Learning Engineer at Sighthound, Inc. Zak joined the company in 2021 and is actively contributing to projects in this role.

Before that, Zak worked at HDR as a PLC Programming Intern from 2019 to 2019. In this role, they collaborated with professional engineers on two significant PLC programming projects, including a wastewater plant and an underground mining facility. Zak programmed Schneider Electric Modicon PLCs using Unity software and function block diagrams, as well as Allen-Bradley PLCs using RSLogix and their respective HMI interface design tools.
