Embedded Hardware Engineer (II) at SightLine Applications

Bill Howland has worked as an engineer and technician since 2004. In that time, they have held roles at three different companies. In 2018, they began working as an Embedded Hardware Engineer (II) at SightLine Applications, Inc., where they create PCB video processing products for customers and for internal testing, as well as test fixtures and applications for Sightline's hardware products. From 2016-2018, they were an Audio Electronics Engineer & Technician at Evil Science Audio, where they performed electronic repairs and restorations to equipment of all types and originated custom circuit designs and PCB layouts for a musical instrument equipment manufacturer. From 2004-2016, they worked as an Electrical Technologist III at BASF, where they managed product manufacturing, assisted the engineering team with new product designs, managed the supply chain and quality control, and built & maintained calibration and process control equipment. Bill also provided customer support for RMAs/Failure analyses and repairs.

Bill Howland obtained a Certificate in Python-based Web Development Boot Camp from PDX Code Guild in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ITT Technical Institute in 2006.
