Lily Hunter has a long and varied work experience, beginning with their role as Communications Director at Ripple Effect Images in 2010. During their time there, they conducted the administration of the organization, designed key company branding materials, maintained relationships with donors and partners, applied for and received over $200,000 in Foundation Grants, planned and executed fundraising events, represented the organization in conferences, built and oversaw an archive of over 10,000 images, helped to design and maintain their website, and executed budgeting and day-to-day bookkeeping.

In 2012, Hunter founded Lily Maley Creative, where they were responsible for freelance and contract Creative Direction work. Her specialities included branding and brand strategy, copywriting, written communications, building brand guideline portals, responsive website design, responsive email design, layout design, persuasive large-scale/keynote Powerpoint presentations, web app design, mobile app design, and digital media strategy.

In 2014, Hunter became Global Director, Creative and Brand (Marketing) at Cision. During their time there, they led global brand implementation strategy, managed an internal team as well as numerous agency points of contact, and spearheaded creative for numerous large-scale MarComms initiatives.

In 2015, Hunter took on consulting roles with Liberia Medical Relief and Biometrica Systems Inc. In 2018, they founded Girls Do Digital, and in 2019 they became Founding Mama at Mama Bear Digital and Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Brand at Visme. Hunter currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Sightline Systems and ShopLOGCAP.

Lily Hunter has a diverse educational background. Lily obtained a Graduate Specialization in Design Thinking and Innovation from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In 2014, they completed a User Experience Design Immersive from General Assembly. Lily also holds a Magna Cum Laude Bachelor of Arts from George Mason University and studied Marketing and Religion at Furman University. In 2020, they earned a Master of Science in Marketing from William & Mary Raymond A. Mason School of Business. Additionally, they are certified as a Hootsuite Certified Social Media Consultant and has completed Media Spokesperson Training: Public and On-Camera from The Leadership Institute.
