Genaro Ramos

Genaro Ramos has more than 30 years of experience in various leadership roles in the technology industry. Genaro is currently working as an AI/ML Business Development Consultant at Sigma AI, where they help companies solve challenges in AI/ML data services such as data strategy, data preparation, and data annotation. Prior to this, Genaro worked as a Senior IT Consultant at AGseIntegra for over 7 years.

Before that, they served as the Managing Director and Director of Operations at ROM, SA de CV, a leading distributor in the Information Technology Mexican market. In these roles, they focused on improving sales and operations performance and profitability.

Genaro also has experience as the General Sales Manager at Movilidad y Servicios en Telecomunicaciones, SA de CV, and as the Commercial Director at SMC Networks. At both companies, they were responsible for business development, sales, and marketing strategies.

Earlier in their career, Genaro worked as a Sales & Country Manager at Accton Technology Corporation Pte Ltd and Microworld Mexico, SA de CV, as well as the Sales and General Manager at SP, SA de CV.

Throughout their career, Genaro has demonstrated expertise in driving growth, improving sales and operations performance, and delivering exceptional results for their organizations.

Genaro Ramos completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Universidad de Mazatlán from 1987 to 1992. Following that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey, with a study period from 1995 to 1999. Recently, in 2022, Genaro began pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence at Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they are expected to complete in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Genaro has obtained several certifications. These include the Scrum Master Professional Certified (SMPC) from CertiProf in June 2023, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in March 2023, Data Analysis with Python and Python for Data Science both from IBM Developer Skills Network in November and October 2022 respectively. Furthermore, Genaro has completed several project management-related certifications from UC Irvine, including Managing Project Risks and Changes in July 2019, Budgeting and Scheduling Projects in June 2019, and Initiating and Planning Projects in April 2019.
