Michelle Laird

Michelle Laird, Ph.D., currently serves as the Federal Government Sales Director at MilliporeSigma since July 2019, where Laird developed a comprehensive sales team and introduced new roles for managing government bids. Previously, Laird worked as a Senior Research Sales Specialist at Sigma Aldrich, responsible for selling life science and chemistry products to academic and government accounts. In addition to professional roles, Laird has held leadership positions in the Mount View Middle School PTA, including President and Vice President, and has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America as a Cubmaster. Laird has a strong academic background, earning a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Maryland Baltimore, coupled with a BS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Bioinformatics from Towson University.
