Chris Daniel

Chris Daniel has a wealth of professional experience, beginning in 2007 as a Sailing Instructor at California State University-Sacramento. In 2011, they moved to Phuket, Thailand, to become a Conversational English Teacher at the British Language School. In 2013, they began work as a Sales Development Representative at Uversity, Inc. (Acquired by TargetX). Also in 2013, they became an Account Executive at Luminate Inc (Acquired by Yahoo), where they were responsible for new accounts, strategies and partnerships, operating the full sales cycle and leading generation to close. In 2014, they joined Looker (Acquired by Google) as a Senior Mid-Market Account Executive and Team Lead, where they were based in London and worked with companies across the EMEA region to improve their use of business intelligence and build data products. Chris also helped develop the go to market strategy for the EMEA region and expand the London and Dublin offices from 2 to 25 employees. In 2019, they joined Google as a Sales Manager - Data and Analytics for the West Coast and Head of APAC. Most recently, Chris Daniel was appointed as Regional Director, West at Sigma Computing (hiring!).

Chris Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Russian Language Certificate from the International University in Moscow (IUM). Additionally, they obtained a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certification from LanguageCorps in October 2011.
