Ed Anderson

Ed Anderson has extensive work experience in the defense industry and the US Navy. Ed currently holds the position of Executive Vice President at Sigma Defense Systems LLC. Prior to this, they served as a Vice President at the same company. In 2022, they briefly worked as a Retired Flag Officer at Lori's Servant. From 2021 to 2022, they were the Program Executive Officer at PEO UWS. Before that, they held the position of Deputy Commander Undersea Warfare at NAVSEA 07 from 2019 to 2021. From 2017 to 2019, they were the SPAWAR Director of Fleet Readiness. Ed also served as a Major Program Manager at PMW 770 - PEO C4I from 2014 to 2017 and as an Assistant Program Manager - CSRR at PEO C4I - PMW 770 from 2012 to 2014. In 2011, they were the Deputy Director and Congressional Liaison for Undersea Warfare and Strategic Programs at the Office of Legislative Affairs. Ed Anderson's naval career includes serving as the Commanding Officer of USS Jefferson City (SSN 759) from 2008 to 2011 and various roles in Submarine Operations and as the Executive Officer of USS Jefferson City from 2003 to 2007.

Ed Anderson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 1990. Ed later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in 2003. In 2012, Ed completed a program in Program Management, earning a DAWIA Level III certification from DAU. Ed also attended the Aspen Institute in 2013 for a leadership seminar. Additionally, Ed has pursued studies in Cybersecurity through a seminar at Harvard University.
