Sowmya Mummadi

Sowmya Mummadi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. sowmya is currently working as a Power BI Tech Lead at Sigma Healthcare since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at NAB from 2019 to 2022.

sowmya has also held roles at various other organizations, including the Victorian Department of Health as a Consultant from 2019 to 2019, Simply Energy as a Report Specialist from 2017 to 2019, Penguin Random House as a BI Reporting Architect from 2015 to 2017, and PAREXEL as a Senior SAP BO Reports Developer from 2013 to 2015.

Furthermore, Sowmya has experience as a Snr IT Analyst at Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) from 2012 to 2013, a Reports Analyst at TBfree New Zealand formally Animal Health Board from 2009 to 2012, and an IT Analyst at Navico from 2006 to 2009.

Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in various aspects of data analysis and reporting, including gathering reporting requirements, developing dimensional data models, implementing ETL processes using Power Query and Power Pivot, defining calculated measures and columns using DAX, and creating visualizations using both standard and custom visuals in Power BI.

Sowmya Mummadi completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate in April 2021 and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in September 2020.
