Meenu Deol

Meenu Deol has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Meenu is currently working as the Director of Marketing at Sigma Ratings since September 2022. Prior to this, they founded their passion project called Living Atman in 2017 while pursuing a Business Administration certificate at Douglas College.

Meenu also has experience at Trulioo, where they worked as a Senior Growth Marketing Specialist from January 2022 to August 2022, a Growth Marketing Specialist from February 2021 to February 2022, and a Marketing Conversion Copywriter from March 2020 to February 2021.

Meenu previously worked at Allocadia as a Marketing Programs Coordinator from April 2016 to July 2017. During their time at Sage from September 2015 to April 2016, Meenu held the role of Customer Communications and Experience. Meenu was also a Social Media Content Writer and Online Community Support at Sage from March 2014 to April 2016.

In addition, Meenu worked as a Content Writer for ZINDGI Magazine from January 2014 to February 2015. Meenu was a Corporate Communications Specialist and Communications Team Lead at ORGANO™ from October 2013 to January 2014 and March 2012 to October 2013, respectively. Meenu also had a brief role as a Marketing Communications Assistant at ORGANO™ from January 2012 to March 2012.

Meenu began their career as the Editor-in-Chief at Darpan Magazine from August 2011 to January 2012 and as the Managing Editor and Design & Social Media at Our Green Home Magazine from March 2011 to November 2011. Before transitioning into the corporate world, they worked as a Yoga Instructor at various studios and condominiums from January 2009 to August 2011.

Meenu Deol has a diverse education history. In 2002 to 2004, they attended Capilano University and obtained a degree in Classical Animation. Following this, from 2006 to 2010, they studied at York University and earned a BA Hons. in English. In 2018 to 2019, Meenu attended Douglas College, where they received a Certificate in Business Administration, Management and Operations.

Meenu also holds several additional certifications, including Copywriting for Conversion from Growclass in August 2020. Meenu also obtained a Fundamentals of Ayurveda certification from Chakrapani Ayurveda in March 2019. Meenu has two yoga certifications, namely Yoga West TTC Level 1 Kundalini Yoga 220 hr Certification from the Kundalini Research Institute in 2012, and Yin and Mandala Yoga 200 hr Certification from Hot Yoga Toronto in 2010. Moreover, they have a Google Ads Display Certification from Google, acquired in June 2022, and an Occupational First Aid Level 2 certification from St.John Ambulance First Aid industry training & Health in February 2015.
