Paulina Eberts

Paulina Eberts is a Chemical Engineering Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota, focusing on engineering stem-cell derived models of the blood-brain barrier to study influences on barrier function related to Alzheimer's disease. In addition to research, Paulina has served as a teaching assistant for multiple undergraduate courses and guest lectured on biomedical engineering topics. Paulina has been an associate member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, and previously held roles as a biological science technician with the U.S. Geological Survey and an undergraduate research assistant at various institutions, including the University of Notre Dame and University College Dublin. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
