David Zbasnik

David Zbasnik started their work experience at GE in 1985 as a Hardware Design Engineer. David then joined Motorola Semiconductor in 1989 as an ASIC Design Engineer, where they led cross-functional teams and worked on NPIs for consumer products. In 2004, they moved to Freescale Semiconductor as an ASIC Design Engineering Manager, where they led the creation and optimization of design methodologies for CMOS SoCs. Their responsibilities included CPU architecture verification, RTL design, low-power optimization, and silicon validation. In 2013, David joined ViaSat as an ASIC Program Manager, leading engineering teams in collaboration with Analog IP Providers on system solutions for advanced satellite and optical network communication ASICs. Currently, they are employed at SigmaSense as a Project Manager.

David Zbasnik obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ohio University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985.
