Heather Hicks currently serves as the Executive Director of Statewide Services and Chief Officer of Statewide Initiatives at Signal Centers, Inc., a position held since May 2019. Previous roles at Signal Centers include Strengthening Families Network Coordinator for the Tennessee Child Care Resource and Referral Network from June 2008 to November 2017. Heather also contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member and Project Manager for Project REEL at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from October 2005 to June 2018. Education includes a Master’s degree in Early Childhood from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Alabama, complemented by an early education from Girls Preparatory School.
