Matthias Petersen

Matthias Petersen has a strong background in project management and strategy. Matthias is currently working as the Team Head of Strategy and Project Management at SIGNAL IDUNA Asset Management GmbH. Prior to this, they served as the Project Lead of Corporate Strategy at SIGNAL IDUNA Bauspar AG and as the Project & Sustainable Finance Manager at Hansainvest. Before joining SIGNAL IDUNA Gruppe, they worked as a Senior Project Manager of strategic initiatives at W&W-Gruppe and as a Senior Project Manager and Program Lead at Credit Suisse. Matthias also has experience as a Project Manager in Compliance at comdirect bank AG and as a Business Consultant at BearingPoint. Matthias founded their own company, mpeyer GmbH, where they served as the Founder and Head of Project Management. Matthias began their career as a Professional Bank Clerk at Hamburger Sparkasse.

Matthias Petersen's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration from the University of Hamburg, which they earned from 2005 to 2008. In 2007, they also briefly studied Business Administration at Karlstad University. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Management at the University of Applied Science Münster. Additionally, in 2010, Matthias attended the University of Portsmouth for a short period, studying Business & Management.
