Thiago Romano

Thiago Romano has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2011, they started as a Student Intern at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Paraná. Thiago then worked as a Game Programmer at Gava Productions and as an Exchange Student at AFS Intercultural Programs in 2013. Later on, in 2015, Thiago served as a System Administrator at Romanus Soluções em Ingredientes LTDA. Moving forward, they joined BRF in 2016, where they worked as an IT Intern on experimental projects and later as a ServiceNow Developer, automating IT processes. Thiago stayed at BRF until 2018. From 2019 to 2021, Thiago worked as a Software Engineer at EBANX, where they worked on various projects, including the Akkad system responsible for business partner payouts in Brazil. Thiago utilized Go, Elixir, PHP, PostgreSQL, and MySQL during their time at EBANX. Finally, in 2022, Thiago joined Signal Insights as a Software Developer.

Thiago Romano is currently pursuing a Master's of Science degree in Communication Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Positivo, completing their studies between 2016 and 2020. Additionally, between 2010 and 2012, Thiago attended Instituto Federal do Paraná - IFPR (Curitiba) to specialize in Game Programming.
