Dmitry Kaplan

Dmitry Kaplan has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to data analysis, visualization, processing, and consulting. Dmitry is currently the Chief Scientist at Signal4D, a position they have held since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Kaplan Design LLC / dba Epsilon Consulting, where they focused on solving needle-in-a-haystack problems, business intelligence, analytics, and image and signal processing. Dmitry was also a Data Analytics Consultant at IBM, primarily working with weather data to quantify its influence. Dmitry served as a Business Analytics Consultant at Valassis, where they developed machine learning-based tools for measuring advertising success. Additionally, Dmitry worked as a Traffic Analytics Consultant at INRIX and as the Director of Machine Learning at Nuevora. Dmitry also has experience as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Virtuoso and an Analytics Consultant at AuctionEdge. Dmitry started their career at Auxin Partners, LLC, working in algorithm development, and later served as a Signal/Image Processing Consultant at PhysioSonics.

Dmitry Kaplan completed their education at the University of Washington from 1979 to 1988, earning a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
