Mika Nuutilainen

Mika Nuutilainen has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the technology and healthcare industries. Mika currently serves as the Senior Director of Global R&D Support at Signant Health, where they have been since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the positions of Senior Director of R&D and Senior Director of TrialMax R&D and Hosting at Signant Health from 2018 to 2021.

Before joining Signant Health, Mika worked at CRF Health for 16 years, starting in 2002. During their tenure at CRF Health, they held the roles of Senior Director of Technology from 2012 to 2018, Director of Product Development from 2005 to 2011, and Program Manager from 2002 to 2005. Mika'sresponsibilities included managing software development, quality assurance, process development, and training.

Earlier in their career, Mika served as the Development Manager at LPG Innovations Oy from 2001 to 2002, where they were responsible for project management and integration. Mika also worked as an IT Consultant at Cap Gemini Telecom Media Networks from 1999 to 2000, handling project management and design and implementation of various systems.

Mika began their career as a Software Research Engineer at Nokia Research Center from 1996 to 1998, where they specialized in DVB-oriented Java APIs and participated in standardization efforts. Mika started their professional journey as a Programmer Trainee at Prodax-Logix in 1995.

Mika Nuutilainen earned a MSc degree in Engineering from Tampere University of Technology from 1990 to 1997.
