Hannes Planatscher

Hannes Planatscher has a diverse range of work experience in the field of bioinformatics and IT. Hannes co-founded Signatope GmbH in 2016, where they are responsible for bioinformatics, IT, and operational aspects of finance. Signatope offers novel tests for protein biomarkers using fast and accurate TXP-technology. Before that, they worked as a Bioinformatician at the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute at the University of Tuebingen from 2011 to 2017. Prior to that, they were a research assistant at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen from 2006 to 2010. Overall, Hannes Planatscher has demonstrated expertise in bioinformatics and has played significant roles in both academic and entrepreneurial environments.

Hannes Planatscher received their Dipl.-Inf. degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Tübingen in 2006. Hannes then went on to pursue further education and completed their Dr. rer. nat. degree, also in Bioinformatics, from the same university. In 2014, Hannes began studying for their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in MBA International Management (Part time) at ESB Business School, Reutlingen University. Hannes completed this degree in 2019.
