Kris Smolders

Kris Smolders is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical management and innovation within the engineering sector. Currently serving as Hoofd Technische Dienst at Signature Foods since March 2024, Kris previously held key positions at Punch Powertrain from December 2018 to March 2024, including Innovatiemanager and Team Leader. Prior experience at ZF Wind Power encompasses roles as Team Lead and Technologie engineer, contributing to departmental management from January 2008 to November 2018. Kris's academic foundation includes a PhD from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, studied from 2002 to 2007, and an undergraduate education at KU Leuven from 1997 to 2002, as well as foundational education at Sint-Pietersinstituut Turnhout from 1991 to 1997.
