Asha Das

Asha Das has been working in the design industry since 2012. Asha began their career as a Junior Graphic Designer at Hidesign, a luxury handbag manufacturing brand. At Hidesign, they provided creative support to the Marketing & PR Team, designing collaterals from Branding for stores across India, Packaging, PR Materials, Social Media posts and Visual Merchandising. In 2014, they moved on to Myntra.com as a Senior Graphic Designer, creating and managing day to day campaign banners for the Homepage, Men's and Women's page and designing experience stores for the website and mobile app. In 2016, they joined Velankani Information Systems, Inc. as a Graphic Designer, establishing brand identities for Velankani subsidiary including Prysm Electronics and Earth One Private Limited. Asha also collaborated with Interaction Designers and created User Interface for Prysm Feature Phones and the Set Top Box EPG (Electronic Programme Guide). In 2017, they founded Paper Loves Pixel, an in-house design studio specialising in custom illustrations. In 2020, they worked as a Visual Design/Illustrator at Kyt. Currently, they are a Senior Brand Designer at Observe.AI, developing and evolving design systems within teams and producing high-quality illustrations and design concepts from execution to handover. In 2022, they will be moving to Signeasy as a Senior Brand Designer.

Asha Das completed their BBM in Marketing from Bangalore University between 2007 and 2010. Asha then pursued their Post Graduation in Visual Communications from Wigan and Leigh Design School between 2010 and 2012. Most recently, they completed a UI/UX Course from DesignBoat UI/UX School between 2019 and 2020, with a focus on Design and Visual Communications, General.
