Marc de Samber

Marc De Samber is a seasoned research professional currently serving as a Research Fellow and Senior Director at Signify since May 2018. With a focus on innovation in lighting and adjacent technologies, Marc has also held key positions at Flanders Make as a member of the Industrial Advisory Board since December 2022 and previously led the Factory of the Future department at Philips Lighting. Prior experience includes roles at Philips Research Eindhoven and Philips Applied Technologies, where Marc contributed to advancements in digital medical imaging, LED lighting, and microelectronics. Marc De Samber earned a PhD in chemistry from KU Leuven between 1984 and 1990.
