Martijn Douven

Martijn Douven serves as the Head of Retail & Hospitality Business for APAC at Signify since June 2023. Concurrently, Martijn is a member of the advisory board for luxury hospitality interior design firm White Jacket and has provided strategic consulting for Smplrspace as a Strategic Advisor until May 2024. Previously, Martijn held the position of SVP Head of South and Southeast Asia at essensys, where Martijn was responsible for establishing operations in the region. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Smarten Spaces, Signify, and Philips, focusing on enterprise sales and business development across the APAC region. Martijn's educational background includes a Master of Science in Economics & Entrepreneurship from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a Master of Corporate Real Estate from CoreNet Global, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.
