Oscar Cepeda

Oscar Cepeda is an experienced procurement and outsourcing professional with a strong background in the lighting industry. Currently serving as the Head of Outsourcing for Cooper & Genlyte Business Americas and Head of Procurement for Genlyte Business Americas at Signify since June 2018, Oscar's role focuses on aligning the supply base with business needs while managing significant commodity spending across various materials. Prior to Signify, Oscar held multiple leadership positions at Philips Lighting from June 1999 to May 2018, including Director of Commodity Outsourcing Professional Luminaries and Director of Global Commodity Phosphors, Chemicals & Gases, overseeing substantial budgets and emphasizing cost reduction and supply chain optimization. Oscar holds a Master’s degree in Engineering with a specialty in Quality and Productivity from Tecnológico de Monterrey, along with a College degree in Industrial and System Engineering from Universidad de Monterrey, and completed the Leading For Results Program at INSEAD.
