Saukat Abdoellakhan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Saukat began their career as an Associate at Houthoff Buruma, where they worked for four years. Saukat then joined De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek as a Senior Associate, gaining valuable experience in finance and project finance transactions. After this, Saukat worked at Lexence N.V. as a Partner, managing a team and specializing in real estate and hospitality.

In 2005, Saukat moved to Philips Lighting as the Deputy General Counsel, where they were responsible for global M&A and commercial contracting. Saukat stayed with the company for three years before transitioning to an in-house role at Philips as the Regional Counsel for Greater China, Japan, and Korea.
