Katy Summers

Katy Summers is an experienced educator and interpreter with a diverse background in the arts and education. Since July 2015, Katy has served as an Art Teacher for Orange County Public Schools. Concurrently, Katy has been an independent contractor as an American Sign Language Interpreter with ASL Services since February 2013 and SignTalk, LLC since August 2012. Prior to these roles, Katy worked as a Front Desk Manager at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club from October 2009 to August 2014. Katy holds a Master's degree in Education with a focus in Art Education from the University of Florida, completed in August 2023, and a Bachelor's Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of Central Florida, obtained in 2011.
