Michael Apfel

Michael Apfel has extensive experience in the finance industry. Michael is currently a Partner and Head of Credit and Special Situations at Siguler Guff & Company since December 2019. Prior to that, they spent over a decade at MidOcean Credit Partners as a Senior Portfolio Manager, Head of Opportunistic Credit, and served as Chief Investment Officer. Michael was also a Managing Director - Senior Portfolio Manager at Deerfield Capital Management. Michael's previous roles include Principal at Banc of America Securities, Senior Vice President at Bankers Trust, Associate at Chase Securities, and Financial Analyst at Southest Bank.
