PR Panigrahi has a diverse and extensive work experience in various positions within the energy and finance sectors. PR began their career at McDermott International, Ltd as a Professional Engineer and Project Manager, where they contributed to offshore infrastructure projects worth over $500 million. PR then worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Deutsche Bank, focusing on cross-border M&A and capital markets advisory. Panigrahi later joined Credit Suisse as a Vice President, providing research and capital market advisory services to publicly traded energy companies. PR then moved to Commerzbank AG as the Senior Vice President and Director of Energy Research, overseeing a team of analysts and delivering coverage on global energy and infrastructure companies. Panigrahi joined MHR Fund Management LLC as a Principal, managing energy investments across public and private vehicles. PR founded and served as CEO of NRG Worldwide LLC, providing investment and advisory services to companies in the energy and clean technology sectors. Currently, Panigrahi is the Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, and Head of Energy Investments at Siguler Guff & Company, where they formulate investment strategies and manages a multi-billion dollar portfolio.

PR Panigrahi has a diverse education history. PR holds an M.B.A degree with specialization in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Additionally, they pursued an M.B.A in International Business through the International Business Exchange Program with the University of Chicago at KU Leuven. PR has a Master of Engineering degree from Texas A&M University, where they were inducted into the Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honors Society. Their graduate research at Texas A&M University was funded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). PR Panigrahi completed their undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree with First Class Honors. PR was also the recipient of the National Merit Scholarship. Furthermore, PR Panigrahi obtained certifications from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. PR completed the certifications in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy and Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovations and Applications through the MIT Sloan School of Management. The Artificial Intelligence certification was obtained in November 2022, while the Blockchain Technologies certification was obtained in March 2022.
