Helder Castrillón

Helder Castrillon is a highly experienced technology professional currently serving as Tech Lead at Siigo since February 2022. In addition to this role, Castrillon has been a Project Lead for HISP Colombia since January 2015, focusing on DHIS2 support and applications development. A Lead Researcher at Universidad Unicomfacauca from August 2018 until April 2022, and previously a Professor at Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Castrillon also has a history of directing development projects at Tics Ingenieria, where efforts included Electronic Health Record implementation and telehealth solutions. Furthermore, Castrillon has contributed to health information systems as a consultant for the Secretaria departamental de salud de Cauca and coordinated information systems at Hospital Susana Lopez de Valencia. With a robust educational background, Castrillon holds a PhD in Telematics Engineering, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, and a degree in Systems Engineering from notable Colombian institutions.
