Jaime Adalberto López Vivas has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Starting in 2005, they founded and managed their own company called Doing Software. In 2006, they also worked as a University Teacher at Universidad del Cauca. In 2008, Jaime joined Siigo as a Software Engineer and later progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer, where they provided support to developer teams and ensured project completion. From 2012 to 2019, they served as a Lead Software Engineer at Siigo, where they were responsible for leading a team, developing cloud computer applications, and managing staff. In 2019, Jaime took on the role of Lead Software Architect at Siigo, focusing on information systems issues and mitigating associated risks. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering at Siigo, a role they assumed in March 2020.
Jaime Adalberto López Vivas earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Gerencia de Proyectos (Project Management) from Universidad del Cauca from 2006 to 2007. Jaime Adalberto also completed a degree in Ingenieria de Sistemas (Systems Engineering) with a focus on Ingeniería del Software (Software Engineering) from Universidad del Cauca between 1999 and 2005.
In terms of certifications, Jaime received the TS: Microsoft .NET Framework - Application Development Foundation certification from Microsoft in 2011. In 2005, they obtained the certification for Developing and Implementing Windows-Based Applications with Microsoft Visual C# .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. In 2020, they acquired the Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certifications.
