Sulevi Sihvola

Sulevi Sihvola has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. sulevi started their career as a trainee ballet dancer at the St. Petersburg State Academic Yacobson Ballet Theatre in 2002. From 2002 to 2006, Sulevi worked as a ballet dancer in multiple companies. In 2009, they transitioned to freelancing as a dancer until 2011. Sulevi then joined Dance Theatre MD as a dancer and choreographer, working there until 2015.

In 2016, Sulevi shifted their career path and became a system specialist at Helsingin kaupunki – Helsingfors stad – City of Helsinki, where they worked until 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a web developer at the Finnish Cancer Registry (Syöpärekisteri). In 2022, Sulevi took on the role of frontend tribe lead and full-stack developer at Siili Solutions until December. sulevi then transitioned to the role of backend tribe lead and full-stack developer in January 2023, continuing to work at Siili Solutions.

Sulevi Sihvola completed their education in a chronological manner. sulevi obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Dance from the University of the Arts Helsinki in 2010. Prior to that, they attended the Vaganova Ballet Academy from 2000 to 2002, where they studied ballet. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at the University of Helsinki from 2015 to 2020. Currently, they are enrolled in Aalto University and is expected to complete their Master of Science (MS) in Technology and Engineering in 2025.
