Ian Hollman

Ian holds an MBA, a Certificate in Business and Finance and a BS in Mathematics. He has held several leadership positions in SIL: Area Director for Anglophone West Africa, Director of Language Programs Services Anglophone SIL Africa, Director of SIL Nigeria and SIL Sudan Branch Director of Services.

Ian gets excited and energised about speaking and advocating on behalf of the overlooked and underprivileged. This resonates well with SIL’s vision to see communities flourishing, and often those communities which are most marginalised and overlooked. While not a specialist in any technical language domain, Ian’s gifting as an administrator and leader allows him to enable others to flourish, across a variety of technical domains. He finds great satisfaction in helping others be successful in their roles.
