Kate King

Kate holds a BA in French and German, and an MA in Global Leadership in Intercultural Contexts. Previously she served in administrative roles in SIL Papua New Guinea, on the SIL Pacific Area Communications Team, and as SIL Director of Executive Communications. Kate’s research interests include change management, organisational culture and conversational and co-creational leadership.

Kate has always been passionate about people and words. She loves being a part of SIL’s work to expand opportunities for people all around the world, through their languages.

Her passion for people and words also powers her role, overseeing community life and communication among over 4200 incredible colleagues. Kate’s interest in conversational and co-creational leadership and change processes means that she loves nothing more than to get people connected and sharing their experiences and wisdom in a variety of spaces, both digitally and face-to-face.
