Sila Nanotechnologies
Dan Steingart currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Earth and Environmental Engineering at Columbia University and is the co-director of the Columbia Electrochemical Energy Center. Steingart holds an extensive academic background, having previously been an Associate Professor at Princeton University and an Assistant Professor at City College of New York. Steingart is also the independent director at FREYR Battery and has advisory roles at Electra and Liminal Insights Inc., which Steingart co-founded, focusing on battery technology. With experience in both academia and industry, Steingart has contributed to various companies, including Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. and Wireless Industrial Technologies, and possesses a PhD in Materials Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
