Eric Cochran

Eric Cochran is the Head of Corporate Development at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc., specializing in advanced battery technology since July 2022. Cochran has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for The Research Foundation for SUNY since 2017, where involvement includes the Executive Committee and chairing the Audit & Finance Committee. As Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Horizons National since 2007, Cochran also held the position of Chair of The Board of Trustees for the Clark Art Institute from 2016 to 2022, and served on the Board of Trustees for Williams College from 2010 to 2015, leading the Governance Committee. Previously, Cochran was a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates from 1986 to 2022, focusing on corporate mergers and acquisitions, public disclosure, and board governance in New York City. Cochran holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Williams College, a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry, and a Doctor of Law from New York University.
