Kate Martin

VP, Technology at Sila Nanotechnologies

Kate Martin is currently the VP, Technology at Sila Nanotechnologies. Prior to this, they served as the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Petroleum Environmental Research Forum from January 2014 to February 2018. Kate has also worked as an advisor to the president of Oronite at Chevron from September 2007 to May 2020. Kate Martin received their Ph.D. in Engineering Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, their S.M. in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and their BA in Physics from Reed College.
