Kate Martin

Kate Martin is currently the VP of Technology and VP, People & Culture at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. Kate also holds the title of Business Partner - People within the company. Kate previously held technical leadership roles at Chevron for over a decade. Kate served as the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors at Petroleum Environmental Research Forum for four years. With a Ph.D. in Engineering Systems from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Kate has also worked as a researcher at MIT and Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. Their educational background includes a S.M. in Technology and Policy from MIT and a BA in Physics from Reed College.
