Ryosuke Isobe is a highly experienced technical leader and scientist, currently serving as Technical Lead and Managing Principal Scientist at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since 2023. Previous positions include Sr. Staff in Process Engineering for the 4680 Electrode at Tesla from 2022 to 2023, and Sr. Staff in Technical Operations/Manufacturing Engineering at Zymergen from 2021 to 2022. Ryosuke held the role of Director of Process Engineering at Tactus Technology between 2018 and 2021, as well as Sr. Project Manager for Optical Data Storage Systems at Panasonic USA from 2016 to 2018. Past experience also encompasses Senior Engineering Manager in Tribology at WD from 2013 to 2015, Principal Engineer/Project Manager at Imation from 2009 to 2013, Principal Media Engineer/Chemist at Quantum Corp from 2003 to 2009, and Principal Chemist/Senior R&D Manager at Ampex/Quantegy from 1995 to 2003.
