Galip Onar

Galip Onar has extensive work experience in the technology and digital transformation sector. Galip is currently serving as the Chief Digital Officer at Silal, a company established to diversify food supply chains and enhance food production systems in the UAE. Prior to this role, they worked as an Advisory Board Member and Executive Consultant on Digital Transformation in the financial services and FMCG industries. Galip also held significant positions at Coca-Cola HBC, where they served as the Group Strategy, Innovation & Commercial Solutions Director and later as the Chief Technology Officer. Galip played a crucial role in implementing digital strategies, leading IT transformations, and introducing advanced analytics platforms. Before joining Coca-Cola HBC, they worked at Unilever, SAP, Accenture, Citi, SKY Technology, and Credit Suisse, where they gained experience in various technology and consultancy roles.

Galip Onar completed their elementary education at Hastings School from 1985 to 1988. Galip then attended Fort Lee Middle School from 1989 to 1991 for their middle school education. Galip went on to study at Kadikoy Anadolu High School from 1991 to 1994. Finally, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Bilkent University from 1995 to 2000.
