Michael Hofmannrichter is the Co-Founder and CEO of silana, which developed the world's first automated sewing robot and has secured over EUR 3 million in pre-seed funding. The company is focused on revolutionizing the production of simple t-shirts and aims to nearshore the production of 1 billion units, with offices in the US and Austria. Michael also serves as a Sigma² Fellow at Sigma Squared Society and has held positions in investment management at B&C-Gruppe and Lenzing AG. Prior experience includes a role in network development and e-performance management at Porsche AG, where efforts contributed to the launch of the Porsche Taycan in Europe. Michael holds a Master of Science in Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control from SIMC, an MBA from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Science from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
