Mats Ljung

Mats Ljung is an experienced professional in the quality and production management fields, currently serving as the VP of Quality at Silex Microsystems since January 2022. Previously, Mats held roles as Head of Production at JonDeTech Sensors AB and as Production Area Manager for plasma processes at Silex Microsystems, where responsibilities included overseeing plasma and Deep Reactive-Ion Etching (DRIE) production and process development. Prior to these positions, Mats served as a Program Manager and Product Manager at Silex Microsystems, leading customer MEMS programs from concept to automated production. Earlier experience includes a Laboratory Engineer role at Proffice - Life Science and completing a Master Thesis at GE Healthcare. Mats Ljung holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology from Uppsala University and a background in science from both Fyrisskolan and Vaksalaskolan.
