Eric Schneller has a diverse work experience in the field of solar energy. Eric is currently the Director of Product Development at Silfab Solar Inc. since September 2022, where they previously served as a Sr. Product Engineer from January 2020 to August 2022.
Prior to this, Eric worked at the Florida Solar Energy Center, starting as a Postdoctoral Researcher from December 2016 to June 2019, and later as an Assistant Research Professor from July 2019 to December 2019. Eric also worked at the U.S. Photovoltaic Manufacturing Consortium (PVMC) as a Research Engineer from January 2014 to December 2016, and at the University of Central Florida-Department of Materials Science and Engineering as a Graduate Research Assistant from September 2010 to January 2014.
Eric Schneller has a strong educational background in the field of science and engineering. Eric began their education in 2006 at Point Loma Nazarene University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics in 2010. Seeking further expertise, they then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Central Florida from 2010 to 2012. Building upon their Master's degree, they continued their academic pursuits at the University of Central Florida and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Material Science and Engineering in 2016. Throughout their education, Eric Schneller has demonstrated a dedication to learning and a passion for scientific research in their area of expertise.
