Lorenzo Mangolini

Lorenzo Mangolini has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Lorenzo is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Riverside, where they have held various positions since 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Co-Founder at SiLi-ion Inc., a startup focused on commercializing additives for Li-ion batteries. Before their entrepreneurial venture, they served as a Senior Researcher at Cima NanoTech from 2007 to 2010. Lorenzo also gained research experience as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota's Chemical Engineering Department from 2003 to 2007 and as a Research Assistant from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, they interned at Innovalight, Inc. in 2005.

Lorenzo Mangolini pursued their education in the field of mechanical engineering. Lorenzo began their academic journey at MIP Politecnico di Milano, where they obtained their Laurea degree in Ingegneria Meccanica in the period between 1998 and 2003. Building on their previous achievements, they then attended the University of Minnesota from 2000 to 2002, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Lorenzo continued their education at the University of Minnesota, completing their studies with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from 2003 to 2006.
