Claire Smith

In her role as director, corporate responsibility, Claire works closely with corporate clients to carry out their social responsibility initiatives both locally and internationally. She provides support and strategic guidance to her clients on grantmaking and employee engagement programs, so that they can achieve their philanthropic goals. Claire began her career with SVCF in 2015 as the matching gifts administration officer overseeing the team who managed the global employee matching gift processing.

Claire brings with her a great amount of expertise in compliance, grants management and grants administration from her experience working at the Packard and Hewlett Foundations. She also has a passion for process improvement and efficiency.

Claire holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of San Francisco. Originally from France, Claire enjoys traveling, visiting with relatives and friends and is a fan of modernism.
