Lara Druyan

Lara Druyan is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in venture capital, digital transformation, and corporate governance. Currently serving as Managing Director at Silicon Valley Data Capital since August 2019, Lara focuses on seed and early-stage investments in fintech and AI-driven enterprise technology. Additionally, Lara holds positions on multiple boards, including the Board of Directors at CIBC US, Healogix, and Synechron, where strategic oversight and risk management are key responsibilities. Previous roles include Managing Director at RBC, where a successful digital transformation was led, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the City of San Jose Retirement System. Lara co-founded G&B Partners, an advisory firm for technology investments, and has held significant roles at U.S. Venture Partners, Allegis Capital, and SGI. Lara's educational background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.
