Jeff started their career as an Energy Consultant at Burns & McDonnell, where they provided consulting work for renewable energy project development, solar PV site design, and renewable energy economic analysis. Jeff then worked as an Associate Project Engineer at Ameresco, where they provided engineering and construction management support for energy savings performance contract (ESPC) projects for the Western Region. In this role, they supported the design and implementation of energy conservation measures on Federal facilities including mechanical HVAC equipment, Photovoltaics, Building Automation Controls, LED lighting and retro-commissioning. Jeff has also served as the President of the U.S. Association for Energy Economics, Lehigh Student Chapter.
Jeff Kasle has a B.S. from Lehigh University in Energy Systems Engineering and is IDEAS certified from the same school. Jeff also has a PE from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists, and is certified in both Project Manager (Core Tools) and Engineer from Procore Technologies. Jeff is also CEM in training (Certified Energy Manager) Exam Passed from the Association of Energy Engineers.
