Sean McHugh, P.E. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Sean started their career as a Project Engineer at Soltek Pacific in 2009. In this role, they gained valuable experience in project management and engineering. Sean then joined Randall Lamb Associates as a Mechanical Designer in 2011. This position allowed him to enhance their design skills and further develop their technical expertise.
In 2012, Sean joined United Mechanical as a Project Engineer and later became a Project Manager. During their time at United Mechanical, they successfully managed various projects, demonstrating their proficiency in overseeing project operations and ensuring their successful completion.
In 2014, Sean joined Silicon Valley Mechanical, Inc (SVM) as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for estimating and managing HVAC proposals and projects of all sizes and complexities. Sean'snotable projects at SVM include Samsung Mountain View Campus TI, You Tube San Bruno Complete Renovation, Google 1255 Pear, Cisco Field Sales Office, Ciena Software Lab Expansion, East Palo Alto University Plaza, Vantage Data Modules, Google Nest Miranda Campus, and Apple 650 Almanor.
Sean's outstanding performance and expertise led to their promotion to Project Executive at SVM in December 2018.
Throughout their career, Sean has consistently showcased their dedication to excellence, adaptability, and ability to deliver successful projects in various sectors, including kitchens, data centers & labs, ground-up shells, and complete renovations/tenant improvements. Sean McHugh, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2004 to 2009. In 2008, they spent a year at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany, but did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including becoming a Professional Engineer (HVAC &R) in 2013 from the Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors Board, a LEED AP BD+C in 2011 from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), and an E.I.T. in 2011 from the Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors Board.
