Sadhana Shrestha

Sadhana Shrestha is a Senior Electric Utility Engineer at Silicon Valley Power since March 2023, previously serving as a Senior Transmission Planning Engineer and Transmission Planning Engineer at Urban Grid from July 2021 to March 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Planning Engineer at NYISO from July 2017 to June 2021, and Test Engineer at BTI Solutions, Inc. from November 2016 to June 2017. Sadhana's academic background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power from South Dakota State University (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kathmandu University (2008-2012). Additional experience includes work at Nabikaraniya Urja Pvt. Ltd. as a Sales and Design Engineer, creating photovoltaic systems, and an internship at Altitude Innovation Pvt. Ltd., where solar home systems were designed.
