Jennifer Ogilvie

Jennifer Ogilvie is an experienced professional in early childhood education and personal growth facilitation. Currently serving as a Silk + Sonder Facilitator since March 2021, Jennifer supports immersive self-care experiences that encourage connection and personal development through guided journaling. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the Early Childhood Program Director at First United Methodist Church Missouri City from June 1997 to July 2019, overseeing a team of 30 educators and the operations of a licensed nonprofit center serving over 225 children. Jennifer's background also includes roles as an Early Childhood Education Specialist and Kindergarten Teacher at First Experiences, a Research Assistant and Preschool Teacher at the University of Houston Human Development Laboratory School, and positions in customer service and property management earlier in her career. Jennifer holds a BS in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Houston.
