Shaan Novak

Shaan Novak is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public transport, road safety, and management. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for KidSafe NT since 2011 and as a Manager at SILK Laser Clinics since 2018, Shaan has held significant roles within various government departments, including Acting Director of Transport Regulation and Compliance and Passenger Transport at the Department of Transport from 2013 to 2018. Previously, Shaan was the Chair of Kidsafe from 2012 to 2014 and held managerial positions focusing on public transport and road safety at the NT Department of Lands and Planning from 2009 to 2013 and the Department of Local Government from 2007 to 2009. Shaan holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from Charles Darwin University and Bachelor's degrees in Recreation Planning and Management from both the University of South Australia and Ryerson University.
